Silvia Wetherell is our Clinical Director, a Registered Counsellor (SAC) and psychotherapist with specialised training in maternal mental health. The counsellor recently attained the first Certification in Perinatal Mental Health outside of North America, by the leading organisation Postpartum Support International.
Currently pursuing a PhD in Applied Psychophysiology, Silvia is introducing innovative ways to promote good mental health using biofeedback interventions.
Additionally, Silvia is a Postpartum Support International Coordinator and co-founder of the free support group for mothers, Mindful Mums.
Having been trained in London and with a Masters from Monash University, Silvia practices integratively to help her clients work through pre and postpartum depression and anxiety, pregnancy loss, birth trauma, difficulties with bonding, relationship adjustment, anger management and parenting issues.
Supervision and Registration
To ensure a high standard of counselling Silvia is in regular supervision with a registered professional, attends continuing professional development workshops and is an insured member of the SAC (Singapore Association for Counselling).
Silvia has had extensive psychotherapy so she can be there for you without her personal baggage interfering with the process. She believes all mental health practitioners should have done extensive work on themselves so they can understand the process well and help their clients in an objective and professional way.

Linda Van Laer is a counsellor with a passion for supporting the mental wellness of new and expectant parents. Bringing her extensive prior experience as a birth doula to her work as a counsellor, Linda has a unique and in depth understanding of pregnancy, childbirth, and the transition into parenthood. Additionally, she has attended specialised training in fertility counselling.
Honouring the autonomy and individuality of each client, Linda uses a person-centered and integrative approach to address the unique needs of each client. She provides her clients with a safe space to share their story and the mixed emotions that often arise during the fertility journey, pregnancy, and the postpartum period. She will then work with her clients to help them build their resilience, confidence, and healthy coping skills in order to overcome their challenges.
For the benefit of her clients, Linda regularly reviews her work as a counsellor during professional supervision. She is currently working towards her registration with SAC (Singapore Association for Counselling), and pursues further training in psychotherapy and maternal mental health.
Originally from the Netherlands, Linda speaks fluent English and Dutch.

Ashwinni Ponniah is an experienced Counselling Psychologist. She is a mother of a baby boy and has personally experienced the joys and struggles of birth and becoming a first time parent.
Her professional experience includes supporting those going through significant life changes as well as parenting and relationship challenges. She provides a safe, non-judgemental space for her clients to share and process the highs and lows of pregnancy, childbirth and the transition into parenthood.
She believes in empowering her clients through building self-awareness and helping them develop their own set of coping skills. Ashwinni strongly believes in preventative practice and encourages clients to seek help early.
Ashwinni's approach is holistic and client centred. She tailors her modality to the client's needs and has specialised training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. She is currently working towards furthering her training in Maternal Mental Health.
Having supported clients in both Australia and Singapore, including her personal experience living and working in diverse cultural environments, Ashwinni possesses a keen understanding of cross-cultural issues and the challenges of adjusting to new living environments.
Jyothi Kosaraju is a counsellor and homeopath with extensive experience in a holistic approach to the wellbeing of her clients. She is calm, empathetic, nurturing, and believes that the mental and physical wellness are intricately linked.
From this integrative perspective, a person’s lifestyle affects their thought processes, which in turn, affect the physiological processes of the body and general quality of life.
Jyothi believes that the role of a counsellor is to walk with the client in his journey towards self-actualization through person centered therapy and mindfulness interventions. She is at present training in biofeedback and neurofeedback - psychophysiological techniques available at the sister clinic Mindful Pathway. Jyothi regularly reviews her work during clinical supervision and is a member of SAC (Singapore Association of Counselling).

Gayatri is a counsellor-in-training currently working towards a Master of Counselling from Monash University, Australia. Being a deeply empathic person, Gayatri believes in creating a strong, collaborative relationship with her clients, providing them with a safe, non-judgmental space to voice their concerns, creating insight and awareness within, and empowering them to work towards their goals. She is passionate about women’s issues and feels deeply about supporting maternal mental health in particular, a journey that is fraught with uncertainty and mixed emotions.
Gayatri also volunteers on a women’s helpline where she has received Trauma training and Sexual Assault First Responder training. In addition to this, she works at a family shelter in Singapore where she provides counselling for women with a range of concerns such as trauma, grief, anxiety and parenting issues.
